Element 4B: Recruiting, hiring, placing and mentoring of staff
I represented administration in Beginning Teacher meetings throughout the school year. Beginning teacher meetings were used to strengthen school culture and teacher ability. After professional developments, teachers had an open door to bring me concerns and share how new strategies worked in their classroom. If needed, I would model or meet to make lesson plans to make the teacher more successful.

Element 4C: Teacher and Staff Evaluation
Working with my principal and instructional coaches, we created a walk-through to use when observing teachers on a weekly basis. The walk-through instrument was used as a reflection tool for teachers. The snap shot is used to engage teachers on how to improve teaching and lead to more open conversations about the needs for their classroom and ways to better educate their students.
